Shipping and delivery

We ship throughout Italy by courier, but not everything: fresh products are collected at the farm. Parcels leave at the start of the week, and the reason why is below.
1. When the parcel leaves
We ship on Mondays, on Tuesdays at the latest. It is not for our own convenience: a parcel handed to the courier mid-week risks spending Saturday and Sunday in a warehouse, and on a food product that stop makes itself felt. Leaving at the start of the week gives room for a delay without delivery slipping past the weekend.
An order received from Wednesday onwards therefore leaves the following Monday. If you need it by a certain date, write it in the order notes or call us: when it can be done, we do it.
2. What we do not ship
Fresh pasta and eggs do not travel by courier. These are products that arrive broken or spoiled often enough that we would rather not try: we prefer to say so beforehand rather than handle a complaint afterwards.
When one of these products is in the basket, the only option left at checkout is collection at the farm. Collection is free, at Piazza Castello 1 in Montemurlo, by telephone appointment.
3. Costs
Courier: €7.90, delivery within 24/48 hours of dispatch, free for orders over €60.

4. Islands and remote areas
For the smaller islands and some mountain locations, delivery times may be 24/48 hours longer. For orders of oil in tins over 20 kg we will contact you with a dedicated quote.
5. Checking the parcel
On delivery, check that the parcel is intact. If the packaging has been tampered with or is wet, sign with reservation and let us know: we will handle the claim with the courier.
