At the moment we have about 20 hectares of organic arable fields in which we rotate the sowing of our ancient grains: Verna, S. Capelli, Ruber, and Montemurlo Spelt, whose seeds have been passed down for generations on our farm.
In recent years, we have also ventured into sowing ancient local legumes that unfortunately had fallen into disuse, but with some effort we are recovering them: Montemurlo Chickpeas, Cannellini Beans, Borlotti Beans, and Lentils.
Last but not least, for the past 5 years we have been cultivating Sativa Hemp for feeding our hens, which acts somewhat like a supplement by stabilizing egg production and providing omega-3 and omega-8 in the eggs; with the inflorescence we produce Zazuka Farm Beer and herbal teas.
